CHARACTER INFORMATION

Name:
E-123 "Omega"

Nicknames: Omega

Inventory classification: Twenty-fourth model of Dr. Robotnik's E-100 series. While earlier models were powered by small animals, Omega's power source is unconfirmed.

Gender: N/A - Robot (however, he has a monotonous, male voice; which is why he will be referred to as a male in this profile)

Age: Unknown

Date of birth: Unknown

Birthplace:
Unknown

Height:
150 cm

Weight: 1230.512 kg

Physical techniques:

(1). Spin Jump
Description: Also referred to as the "spinball jump," Omega is able to leap into the air and curl into a spinning, tightly compacted ball of destruction which can destroy enemies and break barriers.
In-game debut: Sonic Heroes, Nintendo GameCube/PlayStation 2/Microsoft Xbox, 2003

Aptitude statistics :
(1). Inconceivable melee demolition skills. Once motivated, E-123 Omega can immediately decimate the current vicinity to smoldering ruins with his outstanding firepower. Unlike E-102 Gamma's precision shooting, having accuracy in his marksmanship is dismissed and ultimately unnecessary for Omega.
(2). Heavy duty frame and inner mechanics make Omega remarkably powerful.
(3). Frame and interior components seem to be waterproof. (Frog Forest and Lost Jungle ring a bell?)
(4). Upgraded limb construction to simulate more realistic bipedal movement along with an upgraded propulsion system, enabling Omega to fly slightly off the ground at very high speeds.

Hardware specs: Unknown

Weaknesses: No known weaknesses, other than being a bit single-minded.

Appearance:
- Red, black, yellow, and silver color scheme
- Red and black torso with four exhaust vents and silver box-accents with two thrusters on the back
- Small, yellow platform-like head with red cylindrical eyes
- Giant, acylindrical arms with several points of articulation, covered at the top by unwieldy black shoulderpad components with red handle-bar accents
- Large metal-constructed hands with 4 very sharp, claw-like digits
- Short legs with three points of articulation and large, black metal feet accented in red
- Steel piping embraces the waist, the front of which has a large box-like component with a green light, and the sides are covered in red metal flaps

Items & weapons:
- Omega's lower arm segments are so unbelievably massive since inside each of them is a specialized weapons system. At will, Omega's razor sharp claws (which are weapons themselves) can withdraw into his giant arms and out will come a series of firearms including gatling guns, flamethrowers, missile launchers, and laser cannons.

Vehicle(s): N/A

Personality details: Unlike the previous models of the E-100 series, E-123 Omega seems to have been blessed with a free will that was programmed initially. Or, it is possible that once he was finally activated by Rouge's presence, he immediately became self aware since he was so furious. But no matter what, Omega does indeed have a free will: something E-102 Gamma had to work and get some sense talked into him (by the likes of Amy) to achieve. Omega is serious, determined, and is motivated to do but one simple task: get back at Dr. Robotnik for sealing him away like some worthless reject and prove he is Eggman's strongest robot. Even though E-123 Omega may not be as advanced as Dr. Robotnik's prized Metal Sonic, Omega certainly could be a close second. He has set himself to prove his worth to Eggman no matter what and to set the record straight for being locked away so irrationally. And since he is a robot and a determined one at that, there is little likelihood he will let anything get in his way. Beyond that, though, he isn't without morals, as he has respect for those he works with.

Historical biography:

E-123 Omega, appropriately judging by his name, was the last of the E-100 series robots. Omega was a massive upgrade from the erroneous models from before his time. Unfortunately, it seemed Dr. Robotnik lost interest in the series by the time Omega was finished. So off Omega went and was apparently shipped to one of Eggman's older bases to live a life of eternal dormancy before he was even tested. For a long time, Omega was stationary in the same room that Shadow was kept in suspended animation. But fate had taken its toll, as one Rouge the Bat trespassed to access Eggman's secret treasure she had heard of. That secret treasure turned out to be Shadow. The noise and disruption stirred by Rouge's rapid attempts to liberate Shadow from his incarceration activated Omega, and in a blind rage, Omega immediately whipped out his gatling guns and demolished the entire room to smoldering brimstone in his reckless endeavor to eliminate all of Eggman's robots. Omega was angry for being sealed up in that room, never to be activated again, and he wanted to show Eggman just how angry he was. Shadow had other plans, since he managed to free himself soon after. Unfortunately, he had amnesia and did not remember a thing about his past.

Telling Rouge to hold still to ensure her safety, Shadow immediately went off to attack Omega as the robot continued eliminating (as he'd say it) the vicinity, and right before Shadow made the final lunge of fate, Rouge got in between both of them and told them to stop. After a brief swapping of stories and rather dramatic anecdotes, the threesome decided to form a team to get back at Eggman. Rouge was in it for the treasure, Shadow to find answers about his past, and Omega to get back at Eggman for sealing him in that room. So off the three went to hunt down the dastardly doc and accomplish all of their goals.

During their arduous voyage through endless bounds of jungles, beaches, cities, and canyons, Omega was totally fixated on getting to Eggman. He did not want to sight-see, waste time, or beat around the bush. He just wanted to put in the fatal crack on that egg-shaped doctor, metaphorically-speaking. Their journey paid off in the long run when they arrived on Eggman's main skyship fortress and laid the smackdown on Dr. Robotnik… or so they thought.

You obviously know how the story goes (read Metal Sonic's profile if you don't). That Eggman they battled was just another fake. The real Eggman was trapped inside of his own aerial fortress, trying to get the Chaotix boys to come save him! So needless to say, our three rebellious renegades known as Shadow, Rouge and Omega definitely had a sour taste left in their mouths once they found out Metal Sonic was behind it all. But in the end, Super Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles saved the day and put a stop to Metal Sonic's fiendish plot. Everything was okay, and as for Omega? Aside from assisting Roueg and Shadow every now and again, he's still trying to lay his special brand of pwnage on Eggman whenever and wherever he gets the chance.

Personal character analysis/commentary (by Nuclear Envoy):

E-123 Omega is actually cooler than Gamma, but his style and rap… hell, his design just doesn't match up to E-102's. E-102 looked like some effort was put into him; like he is an actual robot. Omega just looks like something swapped together with only about a day or two's worth of thought. But Omega's sweet moves and actual personality make him just as cool, if not cooler than Gamma. Omega doesn't take crap from anybody, isn't worried about answering any questions about himself and isn't a dramatic cliché. He just wants the job done and likes to blow stuff up. Let's face it, people like explosions. This is why Bean would make a good addition to the cast. But for now, we get to see Omega go postal on Eggman's little robots and randomly scream "ANNIHILATE" and words like that.

As for his further existence in the franchise, things are looking supringly bright. He's been in quite a few titles since his debut, so he may be aroung for a while. Simply put, he came, he saw, he conquered… and showed us what the heavily-anticipated Omega model of the E-100 series looks like.
