Welcome to the Affiliations sub-section of Concept: "Mobius." Here, we will provide the ropes on what it takes to be an affiliate for the site and further delve into our current roster of affiliates, and why we decided to affiliate with them. As for the guidelines, there really isn't much warning we need to give you, as our standards aren't particularly high.

Affiliation rules:

(1). If you want to affiliate with Concept: "Mobius," your site must be updated regularly and have a total hit counter that is equal to or more than Concept: "Mobius'." This is negotiable if your site impresses us otherwise.

(2). Your average hits must be roughly similar to Concept: "Mobius
" or better.

(3). We don't affiliate with independent forums. If you want to affiliate, then it's going to have to be a content website just like Concept: "Mobius."

(4). We do not affiliate with fanlistings.

(5). We do not affiliate with character fansites. (Eggman Empire is because of a very good friendship with the owner.)

(6). Your site must have a fairly substantial sum of content if you would like to affiliate with our site. Afterall, Concept: "Mobius" will be a content central-station by the time it's finished.

(7). Let's not skip too far off of the genre, so make sure your site is indeed, a SONIC site if you plan on requesting affiliation.

Ugh… and that's it. No, we don't expect your site to be of gigantic proportions and incomprehensible acclaim, nor do we expect you to be in the top 3 of some silly and overrated topsites list. Concept: "Mobius" actually seeks Sonic sites with a similar goal as ours: to entertain the fanbase. Yes, I do know this is the general goal of all Sonic sites, but we seek sites that salvage said goal in a manner comparable to that of this one. So far, most of our current affiliates don't do it in the same way. Most of our affiliates are a result of friendship with the owners of the sites and recommendations from other affiliates, actually. All in all, I'm pretty proud of our current roster, so read on to learn about em'.

Affiliates:

SonicVerseTeam was this site's first-ever affiliate for a reason I was quite aware of: one of my best friends was the former president of SVT, RockyJamesRaccoon. So he hooked me up big time. As far as fame goes, SVT is probably Concept: "Mobius'" biggest affiliate. But until now, I didn't realize how appropriate an affiliate SVT really is. Concept: "Mobius" is, as mentioned frequently, the Sonic site dedicated to the true visionary of Sonic fandom, and SVT is known for its commitment to fanfare including an impressive catalog of fancomics, fanart, and fanfiction. In the end, SVT and Concept: "Mobius" go together like pizza and soda, don't they? Still, SVT is a site you are recommended to check out if you want to see some of the better things Sonic fans are capable of fabricating and we're proud to have them on our creative landscape.

Funny story on how Chao World became our affiliate. Doesn't really seem like a site that would affiliate with Concept: "Mobius," now does it? Truth be told, it isn't. But like I said: funny story. About a year ago, I was putting the finishing touches on my copy of Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, as I was motivated to nip that Green Hill Zone extra in the bud. However, the chao mini game was a requirement. Once I got accustomed, I began to once again grow interested in chao like I was before when I first got SA2 for the DC in 2001. I began raising different types, different breeding methods, etc., etc. But even from the very start, I always wanted a Moon Chao, so I went online to see if they were available through SA2:B and apparently they were through hacking, and Chao World was the only Sonic site that shows how. So I joined its forums, asked for the Gameshark software that was required to hack my Sonic Advance 2 cart, and somehow, in the process, I ended up having a chat with the webmaster, who from start to finish is an all around cool guy. Push comes to shove, Concept: "Mobius" and Chao World get affiliated. Although, I've lost my interest in chao, I haven't lost my respect for the site: I still think Chao World is by far the most informative of the chao research sites. It focuses only on Sonic Adventure 2: Battle's chao minigame (which, let's face it, is where it really counts: and besides, it's interactive with SA:DX anyway), but it offers in-depth coverage of pretty much all breeds, standards, specifics, and breeding recipes, and of course, provides an extensive array of VBA .SPS savestates for those who don't want to go through hacking. Basically, through Chao World, you can get pretty much any kind of chao you want.

Netraptor.org has been known for a long time as a place to go and show off your fanfare in a very friendly, parental-controlled, and optimistic environment. Although, that contrasts heavily to Concept: "Mobius'" much more mature element, it is still a site worth checking out and posting your art at, and the webmaster is a real nice guy and a talented artist at that. Netraptor.org was our first affiliate which came to be under some very standard circumstances: the webmaster contacted me requesting an affiliation and I almost automatically accepted since I know Netraptor.org seeks interests similar to this site along with its popularity.

With a lot of interesting affiliates and obviously deserving of them, the Mystical Forest Zone is not necessarily a Sonic site, but it is clearly inspired by the series. The Mystical Forest Zone is a variable sprite database including a highly commendable archive of sprites from several video games, but their extensive collection of Sonic spritesheets is most awe-inspiring. But sprites are only half of their content. Aside from that, they also boast a nice myriad of original music, fancomics, artwork, sprite comics, and much, much more. In the end, like SVT, the Mystical Forest Zone is another ideal companion for Concept: "Mobius" and we're glad to have affiliated with them. The Mystical Forest Zone became our affiliate as a result of one of their staffers, an extremely talented artist by the name of Damien, almost joining in our past fangame project. Although, he was too busy to join, we did manage to negotiate an affiliation. You can rest assure we were glad we did. Definitely a site worth visiting.

Sonic World, not to be confused with The Sonic World, is a site that doesn't screw around, to put it simply. With full and up-to-date coverage on the franchise, a steadily increasing collection of indepth game reviews and music, a hefty archive of interesting Sonic-related trivia, sprites, and what is by far one of the most popular message boards in the Sonic community, Sonic World is a research-based Sonic site that is climbing its way up the ladder at an alarming pace. Sonic World became an affiliate as a result of its webmaster, named Gamerguy, finding the drive to join our Concept: "Mobius" message board. It was there I requested an affiliation. Next thing you know, we have a chat through AIM and boom: we're affiliates. This is definitely a site I'm glad we're partnered with, since next to SVT, it's our other most famous affiliate and the webmaster himself a real cool guy. (A damn shame he's usually away when he's online.)

The Eggman Empire is our only affiliate that disregards our set of rules. But for good reason. When I started getting into Sonic, my first few years were spent RPing on AOL-based chatrooms. Yeah, those were my newbie days. But I remember meeting the webmaster of this site way back when, and it wasn't until I added EE as an affiliate (early May, 2006) that I finally got to contact him again. I've known the webmaster for nearly 3 years before that, so that was pretty much an automatic grant for affiliation. But even still, Eggman Empire has impressive stats and is an awesome site for Robotnik fans. The site's goal is to spread the love for the man with a plan (and a big mustache), so if you dislike Eggman, go here. This site is sure to change your mind with its bounteous media ranging from all Eggman portrayals from Sonic Team's to Fleetway's.
